• Visit to the home of a group of artisans participating in the annual Noche de rabanos festival in Oaxaca, carving anything from nativity scenes, dragons, or calendas (traditional parades) using only giant radishes grown especially for the occasion and corn husks. We learn about the history and tradition from the artisans who have been participating in this festival for many years.

• Have a chance to carve our own radish creations guided by our hosts.

• Visit to a palenque in the home of a mezcal producer working with his sons to make micro batches of Minero mezcal for personal consumption and local sale
